Welcome to the College of Pharmacy at the American University of Iraq-Baghdad.
AUIB is developing future leaders in pharmacy practice and science at its College of Pharmacy. The College’s purpose-built facilities support high impact research and clinical innovation. Focused on delivery of patient-centered care, the curriculum trains new pharmacists to be leaders and innovators in the industry. It was designed to follow-up the evolving role of the pharmacist in healthcare by delivering progressive education in pharmaceutical, social, administrative, and clinical sciences, driven by a comprehensive assessment plan. The Pharmacy program informs of best practices via award winning and world-renowned faculty whose work has impacted students and patients around the world.
The College’s Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) encompasses extensive basic science education with rigorous and diverse clinical internships so that graduates of this program are prepared for the practice. They will be ready for the next scientific revolution that is technology-based and will shape the future of healthcare through new discoveries and innovations aiming at improving patient lives.
Departments within the College of Pharmacy:
The AUIB College of Pharmacy offers a five-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree and is planning to implement a six-year Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Several pioneer programs in Pharmaceuticals Sciences, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Regulatory Affairs and Health Policy, and Pharmaceutical Economics and Policy will be launched soon.
